We finally updated ShipVault to include a new exciting feature called fleets. The function allows users to query fleets by using vessel status, type, flag and specifications like dimensions and year of built. We plan to extend this feature with more advanced analysis features and believe it will bring a lot of value to our ShipVault users.

Below is an example to query all active passenger ships built after 1995 and operating under the Panama flag:

1. Check “Active” from the status list
2. Check “Pass/Cruise/Ferries” from the Types selection list.
3. Check Panama in the flag list.
4. Enter 1995 in the Year build.

In addition to showing the fleet data we also enable aggregates in a chart presentation.

This is the first technical beta release of Ship Vault.

This is the first technical beta release of Ship Vault. Ship Vault is a maritime database application with access to more than 130,000 units of both active and historic ships. The first beta release includes functions to search vessels by name & ex-name and company fleets by owner name. Our theoretical ship values estimates can be found on both the vessel and company search modules. We will be expanding our service with more search and analytical features in the near future with emphasis on real use scenarios so stay tuned for more.
